Please join us for the opening reception of Baroque Topologies on Tuesday, February 7, 6:30-8:00pm in the Charles Addams Gallery. While in the past the Undergraduate Architecture Annual Exhibition has featured our students’ work, this year’s exhibition focuses on the research of an individual faculty member, Andrew Saunders, Associate Professor of Architecture.
The theme of the exhibition is a reassessment of the formal and spatial complexity of Italian Baroque Architecture in the era of big data.
Enjoy tasty snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and live Baroque music including a trio of wind instruments (Penn staff members Ann Bies, Anne Hunter & Jill Surkin) and a string chamber ensemble (Penn undergraduate students Valerie Bai, Daniel Liu, Miru Osuga & Charlotte Rodgers).
