Clarification of University Suspension of Normal Operations/Snow Day Policies

Good Afternoon,
This message is intended to clarify the University’s delayed opening and suspension of normal operations policies:
When the University announces either a delayed opening or suspension of normal operations, Weitzman faculty are NOT permitted to switch to remote learning. Weitzman staff are also NOT required to work remotely.
Delayed openings and suspension of normal operations are implemented for safety reasons; faculty, staff, and students should not be required to come to work/academic instruction in unsafe conditions.
Buildings will remain unlocked and accessible should you need to retrieve any personal items during this time.
