Effective Resumes for Weitzman Students

If you are a Design student planning to apply for a summer internship or a full-time position in the coming months, you will need a resume!  Penn’s Career Services has created a resource to assist you – the Effective Resumes for Design Graduate Students. Join Career Services’ Dianne Hull (dhull@upenn.edu) as she provides an overview of the guide and will review how you can utilize the guide in creating a resume that will stand out to employers. The resume guide overview will be followed by a Q&A with Dianne about searching for jobs and internships. When you register, you will have the chance to submit preliminary questions. This presentation will be helpful if you plan on applying for the upcoming Weitzman Externship Program, which requires a resume as part of the application process. Kali Meeks will provide a “sneak peek” of the externship program (eligibility and important dates) at the end of the resume discussion.
