Too Weird for the festivals! Too Movie...ish for the Open Calls!
A note from the series organizer, Frances Beaver:
I don’t like showing my videos on a gallery wall-mounted monitor looping with headphones. They’re too movie-ish to be viewed in such a solitary, non-sequential format. So last year I spent about $300 on film festival submissions just to see what would happen and it was a big dumb waste of money that’s what happened! So here is my solution: turn Post.Script. into a movie theater for three weeks. Since I’m not the only person making art movies that may never see distribution but deserve a cinematic life, it makes sense to include other people too. So here’s a few of us now.
