PennFlex: Vonage Mobile App with Webex has replaced MobileConnect

 

Faculty and Staff,

If you have a university PennFlex Phone number assigned to you, and you are using the software client on a computing device for receiving and making calls (laptop, mobile phone, etc…), the Vonage Mobile App with Webex has replaced the MobileConnect App (desktop and smartphone versions). The MobileConnect app will no longer work after Thursday September 15th, 2022.

The new Mobile App with Webex is an easy-to-use and secure app you can use to place and receive phone calls using your campus phone number.  

 

Downloading and Installing Mobile App with Webex 

***If you are using a Weitzman-managed desktop or laptop, Weitzman ITS will update your software client to the new application***

If you are using a personal computer or mobile device, be sure to search in the app store for Webex and NOT Webex Teams, Webex Calling, nor Webex Intune. You can download Mobile App with Webex and start using it immediately.

 

Signing in to Webex 

To sign in, enter PennKey@upenn.edu as the Email Address. This should take you to the Penn WebLogin Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication.
