Eminent historian and Emeritus Professor at Penn, John Dixon Hunt, is delivering a suite of lectures to first year landscape students concerning North American landscape architecture in the 20th century. The subject is a fascinating exploration of canonical works and an inquiry into the theory (or lack thereof behind those works). As with all his scholarship, Hunt will argue that history reveals important lessons for the future. Look out for the next book!
