PennDesign’s new journal LA+ was launched last week with a glittering party at James Corner Field Operations in New York. Patrons and supporters of LA+mingled with alumni and the production team led by Editor in Chief Tatum Hands. Speaking at the launch, Richard Weller said it has taken a year to prepare the first issue and it is reflected in the quality of the final product. In her opening remarks Dean Marilyn Jordan Taylor said this is "a great moment for landscape architecture at Penn and the journal will make a serious contribution to global design discourse.”
