Jason Schunkewitz is a current dual Master's candidate in City Planning and Urban Spatial Analytics at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School Of Design. His current research interests focus on affordable housing, business attraction, and workforce development. Recently, he was a research assistant for the Housing Initiative at Penn working on a comprehensive housing study for the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA).
Prior to coming to Penn, Jason spent four years in the software industry designing data-driven solutions to improve decision making for Fortune 500 companies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from Muhlenberg College.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time outside running, hiking, grilling, and playing ultimate frisbee with his friends and family. When he is not working out, he experiments with creating new flavors of frozen yogurt and brewing kombucha.
