Maddy Kornhauser

City Planning

Maddy Kornhauser has just completed her first year of graduate study in city planning. Her academic interests include topics related to community and economic development, neighborhood change, and housing. During her time as a graduate student, she has worked as a policy fellow for Philadelphia City Council where she supports research on business development and tax policy as well as drafting legislation. Maddy grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia where she studied history and Spanish. Prior to attending the University of Pennsylvania, Maddy worked in New York City. She enjoyes hiking, trying new foods, and conducting photoshoots with her cat, Domino.
