Riley is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design where he received a Master of Science in Design with a concentration in Robotics and Autonomous Systems. He also holds a BArch from the Virginia Tech College of Architecture and Urban Studies. He has held positions as a teaching assistant in the topic of material formations, as well as a research assistant under Robert Stuart-Smith and Masoud Akbarzadeh, using industrial robotic arms for experimental concrete construction. He is currently conducting research under Andrew Saunders as a PennPraxis Design Fellow.
