Hui Tian (she/her) is a Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania's Weitzman School of Design, where she focuses on environmental planning and Smart Cities. With a multidisciplinary background, she holds a Master’s degree in Urban Spatial Analytics from UPenn, a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from LSU, and a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from China Agricultural University.
Hui’s research interests concentrate on climate change adaptation and mitigation policies, particularly in the realm of water, including urban flooding and drinking water adaptation in response to rising sea levels. Aspiring to a career in academia, she is committed to advancing a smart, sustainable, resilient, and just urban future through the integration of data science and artificial intelligence technology.
