Jessica DeJesus is the director for the Research Support Center of the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design. The Research Support Center is responsible for all grants and contracts for the School and PennPraxis. Her responsibilities include developing sponsored research grants management policies and procedures and assisting Weitzman faculty in developing proposals and proposal budgets in accordance with specific grant guidelines and deadlines and overseeing both pre- and post-award processes.
Jessica is a performance driven leader and has demonstrated experience having worked in various roles for the City of Philadelphia’s Procurement Department as Deputy Commissioner for Public Works, executing purchasing strategies, providing policy, direction, training and oversight of the Public Works and Special Services action teams.
Jessica earned her Masters of Business Administration from DeVry’s Keller Graduate School of Management in 2015 and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Peirce College.
Outside of her professional and family responsibilities, she currently serves on the board of Prospanica - Philadelphia as their Treasurer.
