Ana Sol Smud is an architect from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of the University of Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA). She graduated with an Honor Diploma.
She has been a professor of Undergraduate Architecture since 2009 at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (UBA). She has given workshops and lectured at various Argentine and foreign universities and institutions. The Architecture Studio was established in 2010 in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2014, she joined forces with the architect Daniel Zelcer, they have since established a joint work platform.
The studio has obtained the award in the Clarín-CPAU National Contest of Constructed Works 2011 - medium scale -, SCA First Prize for the best works built in 2012, Prize for the best intervention in the historic center of the city of Buenos Aires in the year 2013, First prize and special distinction awarded by La Biennale International Architecture of Argentina (BIAAR) 2014, in 2015 and 2016 her work was selected for the architecture biennial of Quito, Chile, in 2017 they selected two of their works for the Architecture Award within the Latin American housing selection. In 2018 they obtained an award at the BIIAR, International Biennial of Argentine Architecture with one of their single-family housing projects.
