The PennDesign Year End Show offers a firsthand look at how the next generation of architects, landscape architects, planners, and preservationists are pushing the boundaries of design and tackling challenges facing communities globally. A multimedia display of work by more than 200 master’s candidates probes connections between the built environment and quality of life, cultural heritage, and social justice.
The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. PennDesign alumni, friends, and families are welcome.
A companion exhibition at the Icebox Project Space, 1400 North American Street, tracks directions among emerging artists earning an MFA from the School. Entitled Bild Build, the exhibition is on view Thursday, May 10 - Saturday, May 26, with a public reception from 6:00 - 9:00pm on Friday, May 10.
