The PennDesign PhD Program in Architecture will have three representatives at the Southeast Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians Annual Meeting this week. The meeting takes place October 29-31 at the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture in Fayetteville.
The Penn affiliated presenters and the titles of their papers are:
Charles Davis (PhD '09) -- "A New Vision of Democracy: William Lescaze, Social Housing, and the Americanization of the International Style"
Andrew R. Tripp (PhD Candidate) -- "The debate and critique of proportional composition in Postwar British Architectural Theory, a crisis of judgment"
Joseph M. Watson (PhD Fellow) -- "Outside Looking In: Atlanta’s Peachtree Center and the Politics of Space"
