To avoid tropes and the inherent biases of the tools, the courses serve to help comprehend not only the technical and aesthetic but also the theoretical and political implications of representation. The three-semester arc provides an understanding of contemporary drawing, modeling, and visualization techniques while also creating the necessary grounding in the historical context needed to position one's work.
