Join us for a virtual discussion and tour of Under Scores: 2026 Weitzman Fine Arts MFA Thesis Exhibition, led by Sharon Hayes, Chair of Fine Arts, Weitzman School of Design, and exhibition curator Emily Zimmerman, Director of Exhibitions and Curatorial Affairs at the Arthur Ross Gallery.
The exhibition features the work of eight graduating artists: Ana González, Cacie Rosario Jackson, Sol Kim, Dylan Li, Jingyi Ling, Noa Mori Machover, Shay Myerson, and Ambika Trasi, whose work will be shown across two campus venues: the historic Arthur Ross Gallery in the Fisher Fine Arts Library and the new Gordon Gallery at Weitzman Hall.
In this guided walkthrough, Hayes and Zimmerman will discuss the creative research that shapes the MFA experience at the Weitzman School of Design, and the role of the new Weitzman Hall as a home for multidisciplinary creative inquiry at Penn. The program will offer an in-depth look at the exhibited works alongside a behind-the-scenes perspective of the students at work in their studios, with videos created by students in the Spiegel-Wilks Curatorial Seminar, taught by Zimmerman.
