The Climate of Architectural History and Theory is a series of daytime lectures from guest scholars presented by the Department of Architecture's History and Theory Committee.
Irene Cheng is an architectural historian, critic, and educator. She is chair of the graduate Architecture program at CCA and co-director of History Theory Experiments (HTX), a platform for advanced interdisciplinary research and critical engagement in architecture. She has been announced as as an Associate Professor with a focus in History, Theory and Criticism in Architecture at the Cooper Union’s Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture starting in Spring 2026.
