Dangerous Waters inaugurates UNDR (Un/conventionally D/ialogued R/esearch), an interdisciplinary exhibition series dedicated to making connections between innovations in the built environment led by Weitzman faculty members.
Across the United States, architects, landscape architects, and planners are teaming up with scientists and engineers to help communities minimize the threat of environmental catastrophe resulting from climate change. This exhibition highlights the work of five faculty members at Weitzman using data collection, monitoring, and modeling to inform design interventions and policy decisions along our rivers, lakes, and oceans.
Participating faculty: Sean Burkholder, Andrew Gordon Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture; Allison Lassiter, assistant professor of city and regional planning; Karen M’Closkey, associate professor of landscape architecture; Catherine Seavitt, professor and chair of landscape architecture and co-executive director of the Ian L. McHarg Center for Urbanism & Ecology; and Keith VanDerSys, senior lecturer in landscape architecture.
UNDR installations are designed and produced by Jonathan Bonezzi (MArch’26) and Ryan Lane (MArch’26) for the Office of Communications.
