Reception for Manitoga Pavilion Competition

The 91 students enrolled in First-Year Graduate Architecture 501 have produced 21 proposals to be developed next semester in a course dedicated to the design development and fabrication of a pavilion prototype for the Manitoga Russel Wright Design Center in upstate New York. On view in the Upper and Lower Galleries at Meyerson Hall, the designs will be judged by a panel of architects and designers along with respresenatives of the Center. Assigned by faculty member Andrew Saunders, the project is a vehicle to examine the basic idea of  “part-to-whole” within architectural discourse.
