Art of “Small Things” Earns Wilmer Wilson IV (MFA’15) Residency in Italy

Alum Wilmer Wilson IV (MFA’15) has received an International Artist Residency from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage that will take him to Umbria, Italy, for a residency at Civitella Ranieri, a 15th-century castle. He notes that resourcefulness has emerged as an important aspect of his practice during the pandemic, with a focus on “small things, inexpensive things, secondhand things as a core inspiration and material driver.”
