Sharka Hyland teaches courses on typography and visual communication, as well as visual studies. She is the recipient of the Civitella Ranieri 2015/16 Fellowship. Her text-based drawings have been exhibited in solo and group shows in the U.S. and abroad, most recently at the Martin Kudlek Gallery in Cologne, Germany and at Galerie Bernard Jordan in Paris.
