B.A. Film History and Fine Arts, Sarah Lawrence College

She has completed eighteen murals in Philadelphia working the Mural Arts Program. In addition she created a series of seven lunch trucks focusing on identity, immigration and work. She is currently co-teaching with Jane Golden Director of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program at the University of Pennsylvania. She also teaches at the University of the Arts in the PIE program. She pursues interdisciplinary work both in teaching and her own work. She is interested in the cultures and subcultures of the city. How do personal narratives reflect larger issues of the city? How has immigration continued to change the narratives and face of the city? She is interested in working with communities to transform public spaces. Each project is a new hybrid with new sets of challenges for artists and communities to grow from. She is a painter, printmaker and muralist interested in also using film and photography to expand the possibilities of partnerships between artists and communities.
