Moving to Philadelphia: an overview
Register for one of the on-line housing information sessions offered by the Graduate Student Center at http://www.gsc.upenn.edu/orientation/index.php. Sessions are offered on March 7, April 6 and 20, and May 22.
On-campus housing is available for graduate students in Sansom Place. Sansom Place offers fully furnished rooms and apartments with all utilities, cable, internet, and wireless access included in the rent. For more information visit www.upenn.edu/housing. After you receive your PennKey, you can apply for Sansom Place at https://myhomeatpenn.upenn.edu. Sansom Place is offering dedicated floors for PennDesign students along with a drafting room. The large majority of Penn students live off-campus. The Office of Off-Campus Services is a resource to all members of the Penn community who are conducting an off-campus housing search. Available staff can assist in all stages of the off-campus living experience, including locating appropriate housing, understanding leases, and mediating conflict.
