The Arthur Ross Gallery has put the duty of curating into the hands of the community. Citizen Salon features 125 works chosen by the public via crowdsourcing. What a neat idea! The work was chosen from the Universities art collection which contains over 8,000 paintings, works on paper and objects.
The Arthur Ross Gallery is located on the University of Pennsylvania campus in the Fisher Fine Arts Library building (the historic Frank Furness building). The entrance is accessible from College Hall Green, or directly from 34th Street.
The Arthur Ross Gallery is free and open to the public, so be sure to check out Citizen Salon which will be on view until March 24th, 2019!
