Jacob Rivkin, a Lecturer in our Fine Arts Department, has been working on Floating Archives for the last year, and we are so excited to see it come to fruition! Floating Archives is a public art installation which projects hand-drawn animations on a floating screen that will pass along the Schuylkill River. Floating Archives will give viewers the opportunity to contemplate the juxtaposition between the river's history and current state. This Saturday, September 22, from 5:30-9:00pm will be the last chance to view the installation, which will begin its journey at Bartam's Garden and end near the Fairmount Water Works.
