June is finally here, and we already have so many plans we don't know what to do with ourselves! Since we won't have as much to write about PennDesign over the summer with most of the students and faculty away, we will be sharing fun and interesting things to do in Philadelphia. While this will just be a small taste of all of the wonderful things Philly has to offer, we hope you'll grow to love the city as much as we do! To kick us off, here are three great annual events that are happening this weekend:
Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show (June 1-3, 2018): https://www.rittenhousesquareart.com/
The oldest outdoor fine arts show in the U.S., Rittenhouse Square Fine Art show was started by Philadelphia art students in 1928.
Philly Beer Week (June 1-10, 2018): http://www.phillylovesbeer.org/philly-beer-week/
Celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, Philly Beer Week is the largest beer celebration of its kind in U.S.
West Philly Porchfest (June 2, 2018): http://westphillyporchfest.com/
In its third year, Porchfest is a do-it-yourself music festival featuring free shows on porches all over West Philly.
