If you’ve been following our blog, you’ll know that Philadelphia is a major foodie city (and we're its biggest fans). Besides great restaurants, we have open-air farmers markets during the summer in addition to the year-round Reading Terminal Market and Italian Market. This Saturday kicks off Philadelphia’s largest open-air market series on the waterfront. The Food Trust’s Market at Cherry Street Pier combines the traditional farmers market with weekly programming that includes local retailers, creative sellers, and visual artists. Every Saturday from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. through November 16, Cherry Street Pier is open for you to grab fresh produce, purchase a gift from vendors, enjoy work from local artists and take in views of the Ben Franklin Bridge.
