Are you one of our new students that just moved into Philly and want to explore this weekend before your summer workshop starts next week? Well you may want to include a stop in one of the hippest Philly neighborhoods for the Northern Liberties 2nd Street Festival this Sunday, August 7th between 12:00 noon and 10:00 pm. The festival is in its eighth year and its mission is to fund a business improvement district for the neighborhood. Last year's festival raised $20,000 towards this goal! The festival boasts over 150 craft vendors, 20 food trucks, three music stages, six participating taverns, street performers, and kids' activities - there is definitely something for everyone at this street festival so go check it out!
