We have got lots of fun things happening this week! First it's travel week, which means many of our students are about to leave or have already left for places like Cuba, Italy, The Netherlands, Morocco, Columbia and South Korea for their travel studio courses. (I know I'm jealous...)
This Thursday is also the start of PennDesign's fall break! If you're like me and don't have any travel plans you may want to head to Fairmont Park for some rest and relaxation. In fact, just yesterday Fairmont Park was named one of America's greatest public spaces. How lucky are we that we all live so close to it?! The American Planning Association was specifically impressed with what they called its' "innovative watershed techniques" (how the park helps keep the Schuylkill protected from water pollution).
