Baby- it is COLD outside! This weather is getting many of us excited for the upcoming holidays and to kick things off this season the Philadelphia Museum of Art will be lighting their almost 50 foot tall tree. This free public event is to take place this Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Here is a breakdown of the schedule:
4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Light refreshments, live performances, and ugly sweaters on the East Terrace.
5:45 p.m.
Official countdown and tree lighting
’til 8:45 p.m.
The Museum will remain open with Pay What You Wish admission. Head inside and visit the galleries.What a perfect chance to check out some of the amazing exhibition they currently have up. I am personally excited to see: Look Again: Contemporary Perspectives on African Art, Paint the Revolution: Mexican Modernism, 1910–1950 and Design Currents: Oki Sato, Faye Toogood, Zanini de Zanine.
