PennDesign's Christopher Marcinkoski has published a new book that investigates Spain's unfinished cities.
Though the photographs of these cities in Spain are beautiful, what they reveal isn't. Chris' new book, The City That Never Was, stems from studios he conducted as well as research on what Marcinkoski calls "speculative urbanization", which is what happens when development projects are constructed for an economic lift instead of actual need.
