The 2016 Social Impact Projects have been announced!
Last year the the PennDesign Dean's Office teamed together with PennPraxis to start the Social Impact Projects. These projects encourage students to use their design talents and abilities to benefit communities in need. Some different examples of these projects include using discarded construction materials to create sculptural installations, designing dining plates to help encourage children to eat healthier, as well as demonstrating simple repair techniques to West Philadelphia rowhome owners to help restore the beauty of their historic homes.
