We just found out about the most amazing thing happening in Philadelphia tomorrow night (July 20th) - Lucky's Great Weiner Race! This unique event is hosted by Lucky's Last Chance and features racing hot dogs. Yes, you read that correctly. RACING. HOT. DOGS. Weiner dogs (AKA dachshunds) dressed up in hot dog costumes race to see who is the fastest (hot) dog! The event is in its third year fundraising for PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society), Philly's largest no-kill shelter. This also gives you a reason to check out the wonderful Philadelphia neighborhood of Manayunk, if you haven't had the chance before.
