BIPOC Alumni Career Conversation Series (BACCS)*
Seeking Inclusiveness and Belonging Amid Feelings of Otherness

Advance Registration is required
An informal conversation among students and BIPOC alumni to network, ask career questions, and learn from others’ experiences. This is the first BACCS event of the year; while these conversations are designed for supporting BIPOC students, the discussions are open to all Weitzman students.

1:30pm - 4:00pm

Pickup your PennCard
Skip the hassle of making an appointment to pick up your PennCard at the PennCard Center! Bring a valid U.S. government-issued ID or a passport in order for staff to release your PennCard to you.
If you can’t pick up your PennCard at Weitzman on 8/27, make an appointment to pick it up from the PennCard Center on the second level of the Penn Bookstore at 36th and Walnut Streets.

1:30pm - 4:30pm Open House at Fisher Fine Arts Library*
220 S. 34th Street

The beautiful Fisher Fine Arts Library will host an Open House for Weitzman Students of the spaces and services that are normally open by appointment only, such as the Materials Library and Rare Books. Students are also invited to take a self-tour of the library to get acquainted with the space while library staff will be on hand to answer questions.

1:30pm - 4:30pm Visit the Architectural Archives*
220 S. 34th Street

Drop in for small group tours of the Architectural Archives, led by Curator Bill Whitaker. Advance registration is not required, but because tour size is limited, students may be asked upon arrival to wait for the next tour to begin (beginning about every 20-30 minutes).

2:30pm - 4:00pm

Resource and Activities Fair*
Get connected! Stop by the outdoor fair under the tent on Weitzman plaza for a chance to learn more about student groups and campus resources, and get questions answered. Note: Weitzman IT staff will be set up to answer questions, so bring your laptop if you have equipment questions.

4:30pm - 6:00pm

Quizzo*
Register by Thursday, August 26 at noon
Join classmates and friends, old and new, for this favorite Weitzman tradition, held outside under the tent on Weitzman Plaza. You can sign up with a team or asked to be placed on a team and meet new people. Have some fun and try to win some great Weitzman prizes.

Join us in celebrating our return to campus, reaffirming the mission that connects us, and exploring the engagements that animate the Weitzman community now. Meet the academic leaders and senior administrators of the School. Cupcakes-to-go will be served.
