The summer internship is a requirement for the MSHP and an important aspect of all professional education. An internship exposes students to the realities of practice in advance of their entry into the professional world. Practitioners need specific opportunities to learn professional skills which are best acquired through planned work-based learning.
In the summer of 2022, 30 Historic Preservation students spread across the globe in professional settings ranging from state historic preservation offices to private design firms to research sponsored here at Weitzman.
