Issues with email sanitation resulting in [Unscanned Attachment] attachments - Investigating
Incident start: 03/13/2024 10:45AM EDT

ISC is aware of an issue with our email sanitation vendor, Proofpoint. While this issue is being addressed, you may see increased instances of [Unscanned Attachment] annotations in the subject line of emails. It does not necessarily mean that the attachments are malicious. However, clients should be extra vigilant before opening or using unscanned attachments, and emails from an unknown source should be treated with even more caution.

We will keep you updated as we receive further updates from Proofpoint.
