Building on its successful work for Rebuild by Design in the aftermath of Storm Sandy, PennDesign has launched a new seminar on the subjects of Resilience and Risk. The seminar is conducted by Matthijs Bouw – the brains behind the BIG U scheme to defend Manhattan against sea level rise and Penn Adjunct Professor Ellen Neises. The seminar involves a wide range of guest speakers and ensures that Penn Design is front and centre of these important issues.
