What do you miss most about your time at PennDesign?
An academic environment offering access to world-class minds.
What was your longest day on campus?
There were multiple all-nighters, some contiguous ones!
What’s been your favorite professional project so far?
Longwood Gardens, which is close to completing the renovation of its Main Fountain Garden, and where, coincidentally, I happened to spend my first Christmas in the United States.
If you could go backward or forward in time, what era would you choose and why?
Not too far back — the 1990’s, for that era's breakthroughs in design-thinking, in technology and innovation, and in next-generation invention.
What’s your favorite place in Philly?
Rittenhouse Square
Favorite book or movie about art/design?
Visual Acoustics: The Modernism of Julius Shulman
Design hero, living or dead?
Pretzel or cheesesteak?
Neither unfortunately, but I do, and always will, love all things Philly!
