Katherine Payne is a research assistant for PennPraxis working on the Penn’s Landing Oral History Project. She is a current master’s student in city planning at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design, where she studies community and economic development.
Prior to coming to Penn, Katherine worked as a grant writer at Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences and MIT’s School of Architecture + Planning, pursuing support for a variety of academic initiatives in the social sciences. Katherine holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Hispanic Studies from Dartmouth College.
