Katherine Payne is a Design Fellow at PennPraxis working on the Penn's Landing Oral History and NPS Small Parks projects. She is currently pursuing her master's in city planning at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design, where she studies community and economic development.
Prior to coming to Penn, Katherine worked as a grant writer at Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences and MIT's School of Architecture + Planning, gaining support for a variety of academic initiatives in the social sciences. Katherine holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Hispanic Studies from Dartmouth College.
