Carly is a project designer at Bonsignore Architects in New York City, currently pursuing licensure. Previously, she acquired versatile experience as a designer working within the educational and industrial sectors. She works extensively with project teams to coordinate all aspects of design phases and carries an integral role in construction administration. As an occasional design review critic and volunteer youth instructor, she hopes to further return to academia to engage her passion for architectural scholarship and pedagogy.
Why did you choose the MS program at PENN and what has it allowed you to achieve educationally?
"I desired the opportunity to study at PENN because my research interests aligned best with specific graduate faculty, whom I believed would be great mentors. The program enabled me to achieve a refined approach toward architectural discourse and enriched my comprehension of design theory. The Weitzman School of Design community prepared me for a potential future in academia and helped propel me into my professional career."
