BIO
Gideon Fink Shapiro is an independent historian and critic who directs research and business development initiatives at MBB Architects in New York. His essays have appeared in publications such as The Avery Review, Places, Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians, Landscape Architecture Plus (LA+), Architectural Record, Domus, Curbed, and New York Review of Architecture. He has worked on exhibitions and programs with cultural institutions such as the New York Center for Architecture, the Shenzhen Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture, and 1014: Space for Ideas. His doctoral research at Penn was supervised by John Dixon Hunt.
