Spavit is a Ph.D. candidate in History and Theory in Architecture program at Stuart Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. Prior to pursing his doctoral study at Penn, he had worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture, Kasetsart University in Thailand for seven years. He had also worked as an architect in Thailand, and his works range from residential to high-rise buildings, and from domestic to urban scales. He is interested in the relationship between architecture and its surroundings, especially in terms of the historical and cultural contexts. He believes that an architecture, like human being, stems from its surroundings.
