Katie Levesque is a Project Manager for PennPraxis contributing to a diversity of planning and preservation based projects. Her interests lie at the intersection of these two fields and how they can be reimagined to support a more sustainable, equitable future. Prior to joining the Praxis team, Katie worked for the Arts and Culture division of the Fairmount Park Conservancy as well as the Wharton Risk Management and Decision Processes Center, researching the impact of California’s devastating wildfires. She leads heritage-based planning studios at the Weitzman School of Design and is currently serving on the Advisory Council for the Philadelphia Cultural Resources Survey.
Katie holds Master’s degrees in City Planning and Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design and a Bachelor's degree in Classical Studies and Cinema Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
