Lucinda R. Sanders is an adjunct professor of landscape architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and CEO of OLIN. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Lucinda’s recent prominent projects include Pier 26 at Hudson River Park in New York City and the 30th Street Station District Plan in Philadelphia, which earned a national AIA award for regional and urban design. Lucinda is currently working on South Wetlands Park on the Delaware River in Philadelphia and Origin Park in Southern Indiana, a project which will transform 650 acres of degraded land into a rich natural and cultural civic asset on the northern shore of the Ohio River. She co-founded OLIN LABS, OLIN's in-house research practice focused on evidence-based, public interest design that positively impacts the people and environments of the 21st century and creates a more just, humane, and livable world. Lucinda is specifically involved on boards and with academia dedicated to the advancement of the field of landscape architecture, urban design and planning. She co-created and co-facilitates the Landscape Architecture Foundation’s Fellowship for Innovation and Leadership, a role in which she helps to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the profession.
