Marie Hart graduated with an MLA from the University of Pennsylvania. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts with a concentration in metals and fibers. After graduating from Penn, she worked as a landscape designer at Andropogon Associates. Prior to that, she worked as a bench jeweler and teaching artist. She is currently a founding partner and creative director at unPOPularNow a design, animation, and production studio. She has taught drawing, design, and multimedia for over 20 years. She has been teaching field drawing and representation in Workshop 1 for the last 10 years. She loves getting the students outside and helping them record the landscapes they uncover.
