Orkan Telhan (he/him) is an artist, designer, and researcher whose work engages critical questions of culture, environment, and social responsibility. He is a fellow at MIT’s Art, Culture, and Technology program and serves as the president of the Biodesign Challenge. Previously, he was Associate Professor of Fine Arts in Emerging Design Practices at the University of Pennsylvania. His individual and collaborative works have been exhibited internationally, including the Venice Architecture Biennale, Istanbul Biennial, Milan Triennale, Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, the New Museum in New York, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Walker Art Center, the Design Museum in London, and Museo Reina Sofía.
