Reut Yarnitsky is a PhD candidate in the history and theory of architecture program at the University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation focuses on Israeli architectural historiography, examining Israeli modernism from a wide historical perspective. Reut has been teaching at the University of Pennsylvania in the architecture, art, and Jewish studies departments, and in the architecture school at the Technion. Reut earned her B.Arch and Master degree from the Technion in Israel, where her thesis explored unique voices in the Jerusalemite architectural modernism. Prior to her doctoral studies, she has worked as an architect and designer.
