Roy Ingraffia

Biography

Roy is an Architectural Conservator who currently serves as the Director of Architectural Conservation in the Department of Historic Preservation. He teaches the Masonry Conservation Seminar. In addition to his work at Penn, he is National Director of Industry Development and Technical Services for the International Masonry Institute (IMI) where he manages a team of professionals who develop and promote best practices for masonry construction and restoration. Roy's work has focused on the research, documentation, testing, and treatment of historic buildings, artifacts, and sites. He is an Associate of the American Institute for Architects, Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC), and Association for Preservation Technology Recognized Professional.
